1. To delete an Instagram account, you will have to go to their delete account page. This is the link. As a matter of fact, you can not delete the account directly from your Instagram id.
2. So, using your mobile or computer browser, enter the above-provided link. You will be taken to the delete account page.
3. On the page, you will have to enter the reason to delete your account.
4. Afterwards, you will have to re-enter your password and click on the “delete account” option.
5. It will take 30 days for the Instagram authorities to finally delete your account. You will not be able to recover any data saved on your Instagram if, once you have deleted the account. However, you can revert this process by logging in to the account within 30 days.

How to temporarily disable an Instagram account?

1. Start the process by opening the official website of Instagram. For this simply enter, www.instagram.com in the search bar of your internet browser.
2. On the official website, it will ask you to log in using your Instagram credentials. Enter the username and password for this purpose.

4. Now, on the top right side of the page, you will see your profile icon. Click on this option, and a drop-down menu will open. In the menu select the “profile” option. This will take you to the profile page of your account.
5. On the top region of the page, click on the “edit profile” option.
6. Now scroll down to the bottom of the page, and you will find an option to disable your account temporarily.
7. Click on this option and enter the reason you want to give for your exit.
8. Afterwards, you will be asked to re-enter your password. Confirm the process and click on “yes”.

How to log out of Instagram?
